Set of three Corinthian wall capitals in stone, carved on three sides and decorated with refined volutes, flowers and stylised foliage. Each element displays a richly developed vegetal composition, where the characteristic scrolls of the Corinthian order unfold into floral motifs and generously treated foliage.
The carving, executed in relief, is distinguished by the fluidity of its lines and the liveliness of the modelling. The well-defined volumes and the rhythm of the vegetal forms reflect skilled craftsmanship, typical of architectural decoration from the late Middle Ages to the early Renaissance. The natural erosion of the stone enhances the authentic character and historical presence of the ensemble.
