Pair of monobloc square white marble basins.

A refined pair of basins, each carved from a single block of white marble and of square form, decorated with stylised vegetal motifs sculpted in low relief. The upper rim is defined by a restrained moulding with vertical fluting, framing a gently flared body adorned with leaves treated with simplicity and balance.

The sobriety of the lines, combined with an ornamental vocabulary inspired by Antiquity, places these pieces within the Neoclassical decorative tradition of the early 19th century. The marble, with surfaces softened by time, highlights the purity of the material and the delicacy of the carving.
